Nurturing Young Lives: Free Health Camp for Schoolchildren
Anupama Foundation successfully organized a General Health Camp on 28th January 2025 at Shishu Vihar Mandal’s Tarabai Modak Primary English Medium School, Mumbai, providing free health checkups to 214 students. With the dedicated efforts of doctors and volunteers, the camp offered general health screenings, dental checkups, and essential health counseling, ensuring early diagnosis and preventive care. This impactful initiative reinforced the foundation’s commitment to promoting better healthcare and well-being for underprivileged children.
The medical team comprised Dr. Mahesh Talekar and Dr. Pranjan Ahire, who conducted general health checkups, while Dr. Suraj Paudel provided dental examinations and oral hygiene guidance. Volunteers Mr. Tejas and Mr. Lalit played a key role in organizing and managing the event. The camp offered comprehensive health assessments, including general physical examinations, dental checkups, and health counseling. Students were guided on nutrition, hygiene, and preventive healthcare measures, with cases requiring further medical attention referred for follow-up care. The initiative was well-received by the school administration, teachers, and parents, highlighting the foundation’s commitment to promoting healthcare access and awareness in underprivileged communities.

Bringing Healthcare to the Community: Free Medical Camp
On the occasion of the birthday of Respected MLA Vidhan Parishad Mrs. Chitra Tai Wagh, Anupama Foundation Mumbai, in collaboration with Mr. Aaditya Raut & Friend Family, successfully organized a Free General Health Check-up Camp. The initiative aimed to provide essential healthcare services, raise health awareness, and promote preventive care among the local community. The camp benefited 137 individuals, including men, women, and children, offering a range of free medical services. The healthcare team, including Dr. Mahesh Talekar, Dr. Jayesh Kumbhar, Dr. Pranjan Ahire, Dr. Ajinkya Gurav, and Dr. Abhishek Tiwari, provided general health consultations, random blood sugar testing, and distributed essential medications. Additionally, a diabetes survey was conducted, along with diet and exercise consultations to promote a healthier lifestyle.
The event received strong support from political leaders who attended to encourage and emphasize the importance of community-driven healthcare efforts. The camp was widely appreciated by attendees, particularly those with limited access to medical services. Anupama Foundation Mumbai extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, volunteers, and supporters who made this initiative a success.
